The author of the book Lesedi Gaeemelwe. In a brief interview said “My main aim with the book is to spread messages of hope, strength & love to children as I am holding book tours suited for children”

She has an MBA in International Business, also high-school Business Studies teacher and a performance arts enthusiast.

She is a rapper & poet among other performing arts.

She prefers to write for children because there is a very small & shallow pool of literature for children, especially from the African soil. In her own words she said “I also believe that children who read a lot stand a better chance at overcoming future social ills & pandemics. I believe that to capture the future we must cultivate a healthy reading culture among today’s children”
Apart from working as a teacher, I also work with children at my local church as a dance & music coach.

By January 2022 the book will be published on Amazon so it can be accessed freely by all African children in and around Africa.
