It is with profound sorrow and deep respect for the legacies left behind that the Apex Association of Anioma Indigens Inc (AAAI) extends its heartfelt condolences to the esteemed royal palaces and families of Anioma, mourning the loss of: His Royal Majesty Obi Joseph Chike Edozien (Asagba of Asaba); Chief (Dr) Sylvan Olisanye Ebigwei, MON.; HRM Obi Dr. Martha Dunkwu (Omu of Okpanam, Omu of Anioma) and HRM Obi Gregory Ogwuolise Imegwu II, the Obi of Aboh, who have transitioned to join our great ancestors. AAAI extends its deepest sympathies to the grieving families and the entire Anioma community. We share in the collective sorrow, acknowledging the void left by these remarkable individuals.

Established as a national Apex Association of Anioma, AAAI is dedicated to projection the values and culture of Anioma people within and outside Nigeria. We hold our royals and traditional heritage in high esteem, recognizing their vital role in shaping our identity and fostering unity.

AAAI’s unwavering commitment remains focused on promoting unity among Ndi Anioma, holding leaders accountable, influencing positive changes at all levels of government and institutions, and fostering collaborations for the security and well-being of Anioma people. Anioma socio-polical momentum will be sustained by vibrant representations in government at all levels and supporting the promotion of our rich culture and heritage.

On behalf of the entire membership, the Executive and the Board of Trustees of AAAI, we express our sincere condolences to the families of our departed royals. May the memories of Chief (Dr) Sylvan Olisanye Ebigwei, HRM Obi Dr. Martha Dunkwu, HRH the Asagba of asabe, HRM Obi Gregory Ogwuolise Imegwu II and the other departed Anioma royals be a source of inspiration as we navigate this difficult me.
