Every Nation can only develop if its human, material, and social capital resources are well harnessed and utilized to guarantee institutional integrity and good leadership.

One of every nation`s greatest assets are its Diaspora with huge a pool of human, material, and social capital. ADC as a political Party values the political as well as social and economic expertise and the enormous contributions of Nigerians in the Diaspora. African Democratic Congress’ desire is to build the biggest professional and most effective diaspora membership in modern history of a political party in Nigeria.

It is on these premises that ADC-DN is pleased to appoint the following Distinguished Diaspora professionals as continental vice Chairpersons. They include:

  1. Engr. Richard Akpikpi (Continental Vice Chairman Central Europe)
  2. Engr. Solomon Okonta (Continental Vice Chairman North Americas – Canada and Québec Regions)
  3. Ethans Nicholas Aigbokhan (Continental Vice Chairman South Americas Region)
  4. David Oghene Abraham (Continental Vice Chairman West Africa Region)

“Having followed your trajectory of leadership in the Diaspora and in their various organizations, ADC-DN is pleased to appoint you as Continental Chairperson for the above name Global regions”.

As continental Vice Chairpersons, your responsibilities include but not limited to: –

(a) supporting the chairman in policy deployment and evaluation as directed by Apex line of instruction and constitutional obligations.
(b) supporting the chairman to manage zonal structures, with direct responsibilities to effectively drive popularity and membership in your zones/regions.
(c) Help protect the party and guaranty institutional behaviour of leadership at all levels, especially in your zone.
(d) Help bring the party closer to the people and gradually entrench its treasured ideals and shared values amongst the people.
(e) Help groom Chapter/Country Chairperson in charge of a country/region in your zone.

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) which is currently the 3rd largest political party in Nigeria in terms of national spread, and the 4th in terms of elected persons is using this appointment to further widen its interphase with Nigerians in Diasporas and to invite them to join ADC in championing the transformation of Nigeria. ADC advocates for total INCLUSION: gender, diaspora, youth, PWD (people with disabilities) and vulnerable persons in the affairs of party, state and in governance.

ADC will continue to count on the wealth of Diaspora experience to join the party in evolving a new paradigm of political leadership, building a pan-Nigeria and all-inclusive government ecosystem, and putting Nigeria on a super-power trajectory.
