Pays a courtesy visit to Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu. Says support groups, strategic communication crucial to opposition victory

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Forecast Atikulated Media leadership has met with the Global Chairman of the African Democratic Congress Diaspora Network (ADC-DN), Hon. (Dr) Kenneth Chibuogwu Gbandi, in Abuja to strengthen grassroots mobilisation, political awareness and strategic communication.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for the organisation to formally introduce its leadership to Gbandi following his recent appointment as Patron and to brief him on its proposed action plan for the 2027 electoral campaign.
Moderated by a former ADC National Youth Leader, Maurice Oru Ebam, the strategic session examined approaches for expanding voter engagement, strengthening grassroots structures and building coordinated support for former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the ADC.
Gbandi, a media entrepreneur, diaspora leader and political strategist, underscored the crucial role of support groups in translating party policies and campaign messages into language that resonates with ordinary Nigerians.
He noted that effective political mobilisation must go beyond rallies and social media campaigns to include sustained voter education, community engagement and the development of credible grassroots networks across the country.
According to him, support groups remain indispensable bridges between political candidates, party structures and the electorate, particularly at a time when Nigerians are demanding a clear alternative capable of delivering accountable and inclusive governance.
The Founder and National Chairman of Forecast Atikulated Media, Comrade Nasiru Adamu Randagi, said the organisation was committed to deploying its media platforms and nationwide networks to promote political awareness and mobilise support ahead of the elections.
Randagi explained that the group’s campaign strategy would prioritise grassroots engagement, youth participation and issue-based communication while promoting national unity and equitable development across Northern and Southern Nigeria.
Following the brainstorming session, the delegation proceeded on a courtesy visit to ADC founder, Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu, at his office in Abuja.
During the engagement, the delegation discussed strategies for strengthening collaboration among the party, diaspora networks and independent support organisations working towards the success of Atiku Abubakar and the ADC in the 2027 presidential election.
Participants agreed that winning the confidence of Nigerians would require disciplined organisation, coherent messaging and a broad national coalition capable of addressing insecurity, economic hardship, unemployment and widening inequality.
The meeting formed part of ongoing consultations and mobilisation preparations aimed at building an effective campaign architecture and positioning the ADC as a credible platform for democratic renewal and good governance in 2027.
