The African Democratic Congress–Diaspora Network (ADC–DN) has indicated interest in forming a strategic collaboration with Forecast Articulated Media. The partnership aims to strengthen grassroots political awareness, expand citizen engagement, and mobilise Nigerians across the country and the diaspora ahead of the 2027 general elections.
This collaboration forms part of ADC–DN’s broader strategy to build alliances with credible grassroots organisations, community-based movements, youth networks, women’s groups, and independent media platforms capable of taking the message of democratic renewal directly to ordinary Nigerians.
Under the initiative, ADC–DN and Forecast Articulated Media will work together on political education, grassroots sensitisation, community outreach, digital communication, and mobilisation programs. Particular attention will be given to engaging young people, women, first-time voters, and underserved communities whose voices have often been marginalised in Nigeria’s political process. Recently, the leadership of Forecast Articulated Media, led by its chairman, visited His Excellency Atiku Abubakar to present four published books and received his blessing.

The partnership is expected to bridge the gap between diaspora-driven political advocacy and grassroots realities at home. It will also provide a platform for communicating the policies, values, and reform agenda of the African Democratic Congress in clear, accessible language.
This development follows the appointment of Hon. (Dr.) Kenneth Chibuogwu Gbandi, Global Chairman of ADC–DN, as Patron of Forecast Articulated Media.
His appointment was announced by the organisation’s Founder and National Chairman, Comrade Nasiru Adamu Randagi, in recognition of Hon. Gbandi’s distinguished leadership, extensive political experience, and valuable contributions toward advancing youth and women’s participation in Nigeria’s political landscape.
Forecast Articulated Media also acknowledged Hon. Gbandi’s longstanding commitment to diaspora engagement, inclusive governance, democratic development, and the growth of the African Democratic Congress.
The decision to appoint Hon. Gbandi as Patron has opened a broader channel of cooperation between the organisation and ADC–DN, transforming the recognition into a strategic relationship focused on political education, grassroots mobilisation, and national development.
As Global Chairman of ADC–DN, Hon. Gbandi has consistently advocated for the formal recognition of Nigerians in the diaspora as Nigeria’s “seventh geopolitical zone.” He has also championed stronger youth and women’s representation, credible elections, diaspora voting rights, electoral transparency, and closer cooperation between political institutions and grassroots communities.
Hon. Gbandi noted that ADC–DN leadership believes Nigeria’s democratic renewal cannot be achieved solely through elite political negotiations. Instead, it must be built through sustained engagement with citizens in their communities, workplaces, markets, schools, professional associations, and digital spaces.
Subject to leadership approval, the collaboration with Forecast Articulated Media represents a deliberate effort to connect national and diaspora political structures with active grassroots organisations.
Forecast Articulated Media is expected to deploy its media platforms, publications, community networks, and political communication channels to promote issue-based participation and raise public awareness for credible, competent, and people-centred leadership.
The movement’s leadership also disclosed plans to formally present Hon. (Dr.) Gbandi with his appointment letter and five books published by Comrade Randagi in support of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar’s 2027 political aspirations. The ceremony is scheduled for October in Abuja.
Beyond this immediate partnership, ADC–DN plans to invite other credible grassroots organisations, civil society groups, professional bodies, youth movements, and women-led associations to join its expanding coalition for political awareness and democratic mobilisation.
This emerging alliance underscores the growing importance of collaboration between diaspora political networks and home-based grassroots organisations. With millions of Nigerians demanding meaningful change, the success of any political movement in 2027 will depend not only on campaign rallies and public declarations, but on its ability to organise, educate, and mobilise citizens at the community level.
The planned partnership between ADC–DN and Forecast Articulated Media is positioned as more than a standard political arrangement; it is a strategic commitment to building an informed citizenry, strengthening grassroots participation, and converting public demand for change into organized democratic action.
