Development Cooperation (Nigeria-Europe)


In collaboration with AfricanTide Germany, Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation Europe (NIDOE) is pleased to invite you to its international project summit holding in Dortmund Germany from 25-27 May 2017.

The Board of Trustees of Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation Europe is desirous to supporting the economic regeneration efforts of the federal Government of Nigeria in general and the Nigerian-Diaspora oriented projects in particular.

The passage of the Nigerian Diaspora Commission Bill is an attestation of the indispensable nature of the Nigerian Diaspora in general and NIDO in particular, in galvanizing the human and financial capital of over 17 million Nigerians in the Diaspora, spread across four continents of Europe, Americas, Asia and Africa. During the breakout sessions, NIDOE will retreat to review measures for consolidating ongoing NIDO Europe Projects as well as looking at measures for consolidating ongoing strategic collaboration and relationships between Nigerian and European host countries towards the multi-sectoral development of Nigeria leveraging on the organisation’s presence in more than 18 countries in Europe and role in NIDO Worldwide.

An executive group of corporate leaders and state actors will examine policy aspects of bilateral cooperation with focus on driving trade and investment into Nigeria and helping Nigerian businesses to deepen their access to global capital for national development. Experts, dignitaries and resource persons from Africa and various European countries will be also available to enrich the project summit with experienced insights and practical solution to subject matters of the summit.
