In his determination to win the Delta North Senatorial seat in the forth coming general elections, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Candidate, Dr. Kenneth Gbandi has resorted to some voters’ motivational acts as means of wooing them to his side.

The politician who was a member of the German Senate Foreigners Committee and Coordinator of Nigerians in Diaspora based in Europe says he decided to use his philanthropy arm – Gbandi Care Medical Outreach to connect to his constituents, especially at the grassroots level. According to him; “I decided to bring medical experts and equipment from Germany to offer to my people what I have personally enjoyed in Germany for about three decades. I know that many people cannot afford medical tourism abroad like some politicians, so I thought it wise to bring “medical tourism” from Germany to them. After all, it is only the healthy that can stand under the sun to cast his or her vote for me.

Explaining the purpose and activities of the Gbandi Care medical outreach, the medical team leader who is a nuclear physician, Dr. Frank Hobarch said the group which came into Nigeria with hand-held ultra sound scanning machines that aid simple diagnostics of ailment with little help from a qualified physician.

He said but for the graphical representation of the scanning machine findings, a non-medical personnel can comfortably perform routine medical examinations on himself with the scanning device. Butressing this point, a member of the team Henry Ambrose-Ojiodu pointed out that the outfit is already working with some public health centers pm Nigeria with a view to providing them with medical devices from Germany and other parts of the world .

In the same vein, Ambrose – Ojiodu who is also a UEFA certified football coach in Germany revealed that the sporting aspect of their visit include a football talent hunt where they organize local age grade competitions with a view to discovering talented footballers who can be encouraged to take up the career locally or internally using his registered sports outfit Tuklan Sports Consultancy based in Germany.

According to the Coach who was a former member of the Nigeria under 17 football national team, the company has all that it takes to donate sporting wears and other equipment to Nigeria if encouraged to so. When asked whether the team will participate in the forthcoming general elections, Henry Ambrose-Ojiodu said those of them who are Nigerians and registered for the polls will certainly participate. He added that the Gbandi Care group which includes housing provision, farming entrepreneurship solar panel building and general youth empowerment will continue to hold programs to shore up Gbandi Kenneth’s popularity and eventual return as the winner of the Delta North Senatorial seat in 2023.
