It is not only the winner who should be considered fortunate in a modern liberal democracy, but the loser as well, especially when he accepts the defeat and carries the winner along. On this common ideological notion therefore, Alhaji Ibrahim Manzo heavily recognizes both the divine and human efforts in favour of the Presidential Candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dumebi Kachikwu whom he represented on the 24th of June, 2022 after the just concluded primary election of the party in the state capital of Ogun, Abeokuta.

Manzo briefly cracks a joke with both the ADC State and Federal House of Assembly Candidates as he discusses the nature, phenomenon and the basic dynamics of an internal democracy in Nigerian politics. Some of the most important developments in relation to unity, possibility of commissioning a new office in Kano and the unconditional support of an emerging Presidential Candidate were tabled down to strengthen the party and to secure victory at all polling units. Laying emphasis on global economic paradigms, without competence in basic campaign skills, our candidates cannot record the needed results in 2023 general elections. “Mine is to start by passing an information that Mr. Kachikwu extends his warm appreciation and gratitude to Kano delegates, candidates, as well as party leadership for their trust and confidence in him”, Manzo says.
The essence of Manzo’s visit to Kano therefore is to strengthen a working partnership with all the candidates, as well as party leadership and thereby exploring every possible avenue to reach out the entire population ensure easy victory at the poll in 2023. He equally urges the candidates to share a major responsibility and voluntarily compromise themselves by providing necessary logistics for the arrival of ADC 2023 flag bearer, H.E Dumebi Kachikwu. He too, made an assurance that the Presidential candidate will carry everyone along. For the candidates whose diligence, competence, campaign skills, and influence appeared more visible in their respective constituencies will be drawn much closer to the presidential candidate and the party leadership as well.

All the representatives of the candidates who were in attendance applauded the party’s readiness for the general elections and indicated an overwhelming interest to support Mr. Kachikwu to victory. They equally praised Alhaji Ibrahim Manzo for his excellent achievements in the party that earned him a great respect. These representatives however, raised a serious concern over the nature of the poor economy of some candidates with the hope and belief that Mr. Kachikwu will support by bridging such financial gaps.
