Economic reform must serve the people, not impoverish them. Subsidy removal executed without affordable transportation, reliable electricity, adequate wages, and functioning social protections is not genuine reform, it is an aggressive redistribution of wealth away from everyday citizens. If trillions of naira have been saved and distributed while poverty continues to deepen across households, Nigerians are fully entitled to demand immediate relief, structural support, and complete accountability.
