A new wave of solidarity is sweeping across the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Delta State as Ward Chairmen from multiple LGAs publicly reaffirm their total loyalty to the State Executive Committee led by Engr. Austine Okolie. In a coordinated chorus of endorsements, grassroots leaders have dismissed attempts by a small group of political actors to manipulate party structures, insisting that the ADC is not and will never be an item for political merchandise. This is following the overwhelming outpour of solidarity across the state from the 25 Lacal Government chairmen and their the 3 Senatorial Vice chairpersons

Ward Chairmen across the state described recent attempts to operate a purported parallel structure in Asaba as nothing more than the handiwork of “political merchants struggling to enter the voyage through the window.” They stressed that authentic ADC leadership—whether at the state, LGA, or ward level, remains intact, united, and fully aligned behind Engr. Okolie’s mandate.

“Our leadership is not for sale, our loyalty cannot be depleted, and our commitment to Engr. Okolie’s visionary agenda cannot be compromised,” one Ward Chairman stated, echoing the sentiment widely shared among the ward executives. Leaders emphasized that the stability of the party at the grassroots level reflects the firm confidence they have in the State Exco, adding that no amount of external meddling or political desperation can weaken the cohesion of the ADC in Delta State.

Multiple ward executives reported that support for Engr. Okolie’s leadership has only grown stronger in the wake of recent attempts to distort the party’s structure. Rather than divide the party, they said, the distractions have served to further unify members who are determined to protect the integrity, identity, and core values of the ADC.

Grassroots leaders also condemned individuals attempting to create confusion within the party, asserting that their antics will not stand the test of legitimacy. “The ADC is guided by constitutionality, not backdoor arrangements. Anyone attempting to hijack the party through falsehood or unauthorized means is simply wasting their time,” another ward leader noted.

With overwhelmingly consistent messages of loyalty coming from both ward and LGA levels, party observers say the unity around Engr. Okolie solidifies his position and signals a formidable internal front as the ADC prepares for upcoming political engagements. The resounding declaration that “ADC is not for SALE!” has quickly become the rallying cry for members determined to safeguard the party’s authenticity and future direction.

In what many now describe as a defining moment for the ADC in Delta State, the grassroots has made its position clear: the leadership of Engr. Austine Okolie remains unshaken, and the party stands firm against political opportunism.
