The African Democratic Congress Diaspora Network (ADC-DN), representing a formidable alliance of party faithfuls, friends, and sympathizers across Africa, Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Oceania, congratulates former Senate President Senator David Mark and former Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola on their appointments as Interim National Chairman and National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, respectively.
ADC-DN unequivocally reaffirms its enduring commitment to the vision of a New Nigeriaand throws its full weight behind the recently unveiled high-level opposition coalition. Let it be clearly stated: ADC-DN has come to stay, stronger, more determined, and more united than ever. The Diaspora remains an indispensable pillar in Nigeria’s political reawakening, and this strategic realignment only deepens our resolve.
Reacting to the coalition’s unveiling, Hon. (Dr.) Kenneth Gbandi, the ADC-DN Leader and immediate past ADC National Deputy Chairman (Diaspora Engagements), expressed his unflinching support for the alliance, calling it a “long-overdue alignment of national interest and people power.”
He assured members and stakeholders that the ADC Diaspora Network remains intact, and is now further energized through partnerships with like-minded Diaspora blocs such as the OBIDIENT and Articulated Networks, forming a unified, strategic, and unstoppable movement as Nigeria prepares for the 2027 general elections. “This is not just about politics,” Hon. Gbandi emphasized. “This is a mission to rescue Nigeria. The Diaspora has made its stance clear that we stand with any alliance that promotes competence, justice, transparency, and the dignity of the Nigerian people.” The ADC Diaspora Network will continue to galvanize and mobilize the Nigerian Diaspora community worldwide in support of a reformed, inclusive, and people-focused Nigeria. While we remain steadfast in the ideals of the African Democratic Congress, we fully embrace this broader national purpose through this historic coalition.
