The Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO) Germany in corporation with Nigerian Business Forum hereby announces the inauguration of Nigerians in Germany Think Tank Commission (NGTTC), which has been tasked with finding how best Nigerians in Diaspora Germany’s Agenda 2015 could be achieved.

The primary objective of Agenda 2015 is to make the impact of the Nigerian Diaspora Germany felt more effectively both in Nigeria and Germany in order to enable the organisation and Nigerians fulfil its fundamental purpose of supporting national development in Nigeria.

The Objectives of the NGTTC

The objectives of the Nigerians in Germany´s Think Tank group (NIDO-NGTTC), among others, are:

A)    To design a framework for the integration of Nigerian professionals and entrepreneurs in Germany into German-Nigerian relations. For example, to find how Germany’s Nigerian Diaspora expertise could be made available to both the Nigerian and German governments in line with Bi-National Commission.

B)    To advise on how qualified Nigerians in Germany could be recommended for appointments into government positions, especially in the areas of Education, Health Services, Technology, Trade and Investment, in Nigeria.

C)    To recommend the most effective ways to organize Diaspora Missions to Nigeria in the areas of Trade & Investment, Medicine, Science and Technology, Culture and Tourism.

D)    To identify modalities for the mobilization of Nigerian businesspeople and professionals residing in Germany to support the Transformation Agenda of the Administration of President Goodluck Jonathan and any democratically elected government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
