Esteemed Appreciation to NIDOE Irish Chapter who have chosen peace and unity for a purposeful homeland development over seed of disunity especially when it’s election time.

Our sincere appreciation to Her Excellency (Dr) Mrs Elizabeth Uzoma Emenike, Ambassador of Nigeria to Ireland for her leadership in Ireland effectively marketing Nigeria and Nigerians to Irish people while uniting our people. We thank her for supporting NIDOE during the historic Europe AGM hosted by Irish Chapter. We will present the full report to the FGN via the Mission.

I am Personally grateful to the NIDO Europe Leadership Organs; including the Central Executive Council (CEC), the distinguished NIDOE Europe Board of Trustees (BOT), and the Advisory Board Members (ABM) for the unprecedented show of unity in strengthening the democratic organs of NIDOE via consultations and due processes. Thank you Chair Portugal for flying down to attend the EGM standing in for the BOT.

Above all, I am overwhelmed with the pour of support and encouragement from the supreme authority of the entire Nigerians in Diaspora Organization Europe (NIDOE), expressed privately, through emails and social media and the prayers of Nigerians in Diaspora who wish to see a reformed, strong and united NIDO to protect the interest of all Nigerians as against those who want to see the Diaspora disunited for easy divide, rule and conquer.

I congratulate the out-going Leadership of NIDOE Ireland for taking NIDOE Ireland to a great height in less than 4 years. It’s an achievement no one can take away from you irrespective of your challenges like in every other organization.

I challenge the new caretaker Leadership of NIDOE Ireland ( comprising different opinion spectrum) to immediately set in motion to reach out to all members that may have a different opinion until now to win them into the mainstream and to set up an electoral committee representing all the NIDOE Irish counties to conduct a transparent and democratic election as quickly as possible. The new caretaker committee can count on the support of NIDO Europe Leadership Organs; including the Central Executive Council (CEC), the distinguished NIDOE Europe Board of Trustees (BOT), the Advidory Board Members (ABM).

Finally, I wish to thank the leadership of NASS on Diaspora who have demonstrated their commitment to working with NIDO and the Diaspora by extending 2 consecutive invitations to present our inputs as regards the needs of the Diaspora consideration. NIDOE will continue it’s unique leadership positions within the Global Nigeria Diaspora network. Together we are stronger!
