APPRECIATIONS/INTRODUCTION OF NIDO NEW EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE 2015-17

Again and again I am profoundly thankful to God for his goodness and mercies over me.

I wish to also use this opportunity to thank the entire NIDO Germany members for the vote of confidence by re-electing me as the President of Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation Europe, Germany Chapter (NIDOE) and to say a big congratulation to all the newly elected members of the Executive committee. To my loved ones and acquaintances at home and abroad, who gave me words of advice, tips, and moral support, I say you are all once again highly appreciated.

My special thanks go to the Electoral committee 2015, made up of Eng. S. Udeajah and MDG Ambassador Godson Nwosu. I am equally thankful to our special guests of honour, Minister Kenneth O. Okeh (Chargé d´affaires Embassy of Nigeria Berlin) and Ambassador John C. Ejinaka, the new Consul General (CG) of Nigeria in Frankfurt) and to Minister Joe Oyi, commercial department/ NIDO Desk, embassy of Nigeria Berlin who acted as observer at the Election AGM on behalf of the Embassy of Nigeria.

Again, I pledge my complete commitment to the values of NIDO Germany and the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I will work assiduously with the new elected tram team, including Mr. Kenneth Alaekwe (Vice-President), Prof. Dr. Brando Okolo (General Secretary), Kazeem Bolarinwa Ojoye (Financial Secretary), Olayinka Elizabeth Adekunle (Assistant General Secretary), Hajia Saratu Leko Peters (PRO), Chiedu I. Uzonwanne (Project Officer) and Mary Bamigbe Bruder (Treasurer) to continue with the re-engineering of NIDO Germany.

I also wish to thank the members of the newly reconstituted B.O.T. including Eng. S. Udeajah, Yemi Ademuyiwa, Engr M. Anyanwu, MDG Ambassador Gin Godson Nwosu and Prof Dr. E. Anyanwu.

I thank members of the immediate past NIDO Executive Committee, including Ms. Rosalyn Dressman, Mr. Adeyemi Ademuyiwa, comrade Eddy Duruh, Hon. Kevin Uguru, Mr. Johnson Adams and Ms. Zainab Mohamed for their selfless service to NIDO and to Nigerians in Germany.
